In a world filled with compliance-based approaches, it's hard to be a neurodiversity-affirming pediatric therapist trying to navigate what's best for our clients.

Especially if you're doing it alone.

But that is about the change.

You became a therapist to make a difference

Not to…

  • Get stuck in burnout by 10 am on Wednesday
  • Feel defeated after giving it your all
  • Navigate this path alone
  • Feel less than in your clinical reasoning – HELLO imposter syndrome
Together in Practice (TiP) gives you the clarity, connection, and confidence you need to keep making that difference without the noise that slows you down.

TiP is a monthly membership designed to bring like-minded pediatric professionals into the same room for deeper conversations and clinical collaboration. To share resources aimed at supporting not only your practice, but also your well-being.

The 4 Pillars Behind Together in Practice:

Sharing neurodiversity-affirming and strength-based tools

because we’re all striving for this in our sessions

Growth, no matter what stage of your career you are in

because there is always more to learn

Boosting clinical confidence through collaboration

no more second-guessing yourself and your approach

Burnout prevention and support

because your well-being matters too

I'm Katie, a Pediatric OT, ASI-trained therapist, and mentor

I’ve built my career around helping children and their families feel seen, supported, and empowered. Over the past 3 years, I’ve helped hundreds of therapists do the same, because I believe we all deserve better.

Three years ago, I walked away from a job that left me buried in burnout. The caseload was unmanageable, support was minimal, and the atmosphere was so heavy with frustration, it felt like we were all drowning in it.

As helpers, we pour ourselves into our clients, but who is pouring into us?

After working at two incredibly supportive clinics, I realized just how much that kind of environment matters. I wanted it for myself and for you. So I did something about it.

I created Primed for Pediatrics, a 12-week intensive mentoring group for OTPs in their first 5 years of practice. We focus on 12 topics that I think are imperative for peds OTs to feel confident in. We dive deep and give 1:1 support to help you apply what you are learning to your caseload and kickstart your career.

Together in Practice was born out of a need for continued support and collaboration. For therapists who felt confident in their core knowledge, but still wanted sustained growth, validation, and a safe place to ask questions and reflect with like-minded therapists.

My approach centers on:

  • Connection before expectation
  • Sensory regulation as the foundation
  • Strength-based, child-led, and neurodiversity-affirming practices
  • Clinical confidence through collaboration

And that approach shines through in everything I share with you.

Funny how it works:
The more experience we gain as therapists, the less support we seem to get.

And yet, with that experience comes the humbling realization of just how much we still don’t know. 😂

Ain’t that something?

Showing up, sharing ideas, and learning alongside others helped shape me into a stronger, more confident therapist.

That’s what Together in Practice makes possible.

When you step into this community, you’ll move from:

Together in Practice (TiP) is the perfect opportunity for those of you who have gathered the core knowledge, but know there’s always more to learn. Who want to be a part of a community of supportive and uplifting therapists who come together for one singular mission:

To be the best therapists we can be.

You support everyone else all day long. Here's a space that supports you.

"Together in Practice has been a place to share ideas, vent about frustrating situations, or ask for help. The case studies allow me to present the students that I am stuck on and get help from Katie and other therapists. In the Q&A, I am able to help other therapists or ask random questions on my mind. I also love the webinars that are available to me. It is truly a community that is not offered to many therapists"

Frequently Asked Questions:

Once I sign up, am I locked into this price?

Yes. Your price will never change as long as you are a member. You can cancel at any time.

I'm not an OTP, can I still join?

If you are a peds SLP, PT, nutritionist/dietician, please reach out to me first! I’ve approved some non-OTs to join, but remember I am an OT. I won’t be able to give you direct guidance on non-OT related things, but am happy to help other professionals grow in their success using neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based, and child-led practices!

What if I can't attend the live Q+A?

There is no requirement to attend the live sessions. Come for all, none, or just part of it. They are recorded and uploaded for you to watch at a later date.

Can I earn CEUs or PDUs?

Yup Yup.

Each of the on-deamnd courses are 60-minutes long and you must pass a quiz at the end. You’ll earn .1 CEU or 1.25 PDUs for OTPs. Speech therapists – check to see if these courses would count for your PDH.

How much does it cost?

As a founding member, you get to join at the lowest possible rate TiP will ever be offered at again: $34/month.

That’s easily what we would spend on a new toy to use in our sessions – believe me I have about 5 creates of unused toys to prove it 😂 Investing in new toys might be fun, but those toys break. We loose pieces. They get boring (for you and the kids).

A new toy doesn’t make you a great therapist.  Investing in yourself does.

I am a brand new grad, would this membership be good for me?

This membership will help you in the now, but I highly recommend joining Primed for Pediatrics at some point. It is more structured (to help you master the foundational knowledge), reviews 12 specific topics instrumental for your development, has weekly small group sessions for more personal discussions, and offers exclusive resources to get you on your feet. 1:1 sessions with me are also included, so you get a highly personalized experience.
