Share the right tools with parents/teachers without wondering if they are actually going to work.

Confidently Support Regulation Without Guesswork

I cant thank you enough for the Regulation Reframe course. I’ve been practicing for 9 years and I don’t think a course or material has ever made so much sense to me. You can tell how much work and research was put into it. Thanks a million on behalf of all the kids that will now benefit from me being a better therapist.

Nicole, OTP

Which of These Scenario's Sounds Samiliar?

The child can’t focus in the classroom and you think it’s creating distractions for everyone

The child lives in a place of stress and goes from 0 to 100 in what feels like seconds.

They act like they don’t even know you’re in the room.

You feel like they are stimming so much that it makes engaging hard.

What's that you say? ALL OF THEM?

What if you were able to:

  • find the just-right way to approach regulation
  • learn the most effective tools to support the childs needs (in the home, school, or community)
  • figure out WHY a child is dyregulated
  • not only help the child identify tools, but actually use them
  • help maintain their regulation

Self-regulation isn’t just about managing behaviors.

It’s not just about giving them a chewy or telling them to take a deep breath.

It’s definitely not about getting them to be calm all of the time.

Successfully addressing self-regulation goes much, much deeper than that.

Rethink

For too long, self-regulation has been framed through the lens of behavior management—rewarding “good” behaviors and discouraging “challenging” ones.

But behavior is just the tip of the iceberg. Beneath every reaction is a child’s nervous system responding to their environment, internal sensations, and emotional state.

By shifting our perspective from “How do I stop this behavior?” to “What is this behavior telling me?” we move toward deeper understanding and meaningful support.

Reframe

I bet you’ve recognized by now that not all regulation strategies work for every child. Traditional approaches often apply one-size-fits-all techniques, but true support requires meeting each child where they are.

We can tailor strategies based on sensory needs, emotional capacity, and cognitive abilities.

Whether it’s sensory input, co-regulation, or environmental adjustments, rethinking regulation means providing individualized tools that honor each child’s unique nervous system.

Rebuild

Regulation isn’t just about teaching skills—it’s about creating the conditions where self-regulation can develop naturally.

Children need to feel safe, connected, and understood before they can engage in self-regulation.

Through co-regulation, responsive relationships, and attuned environments, we help children rebuild a foundation of safety and trust. When a child feels seen and supported, their ability to regulate grows—not through control, but through connection.

This was a fantastic course that helped me change my view of self regulation and all the steps that need to occur before a zones of regulation or more cognitive program. Katie gives great tools and visuals that have been very helpful to use with parents. She has also been helpful in answering questions regarding the course and offering suggestions for kiddos I work with! Highly suggest the course.

I really loved diving deeper into the ‘why’ behind the different arousal levels. It was a great refresher for me. I also loved all the examples provided. Sometimes as practitioners we get stuck in ruts, so having some new tools to add to my toolkit is amazing!

OTP

Thank you so much for reinforcing what I already know and reframing some areas in a different way. Sometimes regulation issue seem to be such a large area to work on and having the framework around what to tackle and the order is very helpful.

I felt stuck in my go-to suggestions for teachers, especially when the strategy wasn’t working. The Regulation Reframe gave me a system and step-by-step approach to help guide my collaboration with teachers and strategy selection. I like the handouts and use them frequently in my work!

This course was designed for Occupational Therapists, parents, and other service providers who want to support Regulation across the pediatric population

YES! Even if you don’t have your own practice now, this will help prepare you for when you do! You’ll be able to download and use the resources in your practice as soon as you do!

Yes! But let’s dive into that for a second.

A CEU and a PDU are both units towards your license/certification, but they are measured differently.

1 contact hour = 1 PDU or .1 CEU

1 contact hour with an assessment = 1.25 PDUs for NBCOT

1 PDU = .1 CEUs

These units can typically be applied to your state license and NBCOT. If you are not an OT please check your professional requirements.

This course will provide you 11.25 PDUs for NBCOT after completion of the program and quiz. That is the equivalent of .9 CEUS.

NBCOT no longer requires AOTA pre-approval for the max amount of PDUs per hour, they just require an assessment!

I do not offer refunds since all information and resources are available immediately after purchase.

100% yes. This webinar will teach you how to observe and identify to better support the child. It’s not about what they can do. It’s about what you can do.

This webinar is directed at the pediatric population, with tips and strategies from infancy through childhood (high school).

You get lifetime access to this webinar. That means there’s no rush to complete it in the next 2 months. Take your time.
