I am lucky to have had good mentors in my first few years as a new therapist.
They were dedicated to training the staff because they wanted to ensure that we were providing quality care and services to their clients. It wasn’t all about productivity and caseload minimums.
It was about developing skills, confidence, and further education.
Lack of mentorship is one of the biggest complaints of therapists. There’s no one to learn from, observe, and grow with. We’ve all felt that moment where we don’t know something and there’s no one to help.

Common Questions
Do I have to be present for all sessions?
You do not! Each live session will be recorded and sent to you shortly after the meeting. But remember, you must be present to earn PDU hours.
Am I able to “make up” a session if I’m unable to attend?
If you ever have to miss a live session but want to join on the other day that is offered, you are always welcome to join us. Just let me know ahead of time.
What if I don’t live in the United States?
You can join too! We’ve had therapists from Canada, South Africa, Tawain, and Australia join us. The time difference may make it a little tricky for those in AU, but you can choose if you want to join us live or watch the recordings. You can also take advantage of the community board to connect with the other OTs and ask questions!
How long will I have access to the material?
You will have access to the weekly topic information for a lifetime. All of the material is available for download!
You will be asked to download the Activity Guides and TPT resources by the end of the 12 weeks.
What if I want to continue with mentorship after the 12 weeks?
I’d love that! Once you graduate, you are able to join our WBOT COLLABORATIVE meetings that occur 2x a month. The 75 minutes are less structured with more time dedicated to discussing your caseload. If you have a specific topic you’d like to discuss, you can request it!
You’ll continue to have access to all my resources, including anything new I make.
The cost is $38 a month.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately at this time, I do not offer refunds once the program has begun. If you decide after the program begins that you are unable to join in live sessions (and you want to), I do offer you the opportunity to participate in a future cohort when the time better allows.
Can I schedule a 1:1 with you?
During the 12-weeks you can schedule a 1:1 with me for 30% off ($63 per hour). I highly recommend taking advantage of these discounted sessions. We can have an in-depth review of your caseload, goals, and deeper conversations about treatment planning and specific ideas for multiple clients.

An On-Demand Course
for New + Soon-To-Be OTs
Stressed Student to Thriving Therapist was developed out of an idea to help support our OT students transition into their career with more confidence, knowledge, and insight. I’ve seen lots of new OT’s be taken advantage of because they simply didn’t know what red flags to look for when interviewing with companies. They end up in positions with very high caseloads, insane productivity, no work-life balance and no mentorship. This is a one-way road to burn out. Let’s avoid that.
This course will answer many of the questions and thoughts new grads have:
▫️What do I include in my resume?
▫️What questions should I expect in the interview?
▫️What’s a typical salary?
▫️What should I expect in terms of benefits?
▫️How do I know if an employer is going to be a good one?
▫️What don’t I know???
At your own pace, you’ll learn how to perfect your resume and prepare for interviews. Remember, an interview is to help you decide if they will be a good fit for you!. We’ll discuss the pros and cons to different environments and share some red flags to look out for when interviewing. Learn how to negotiate your salary and benefits and feel more confident as you start your new job!
We’ll go over how to prevent burnout (because you don’t want to experience it in your first year) and how to deal with imposter syndrome. Here’s a secret…we all experience it at multiple points in our careers.
At the end of the course you’ll have all the information you need to make the best choice possible when choosing where to begin your career and a few resources to take with you to help you start out on the right foot.
The program will include lessons on:
Resume + Cover Letters

- Learn what to include and how to organize it
Insights into Pediatric Positions
